Tuesday, October 28, 2025, Woodmont Grill in Bethesda, Maryland, abruptly announced their closure. The announcement came as a statement posted on the Woodmont Grill website.
The closure came as a surprise to many, being an incredibly unexpected announcement. Along with feeling sadness, Goldstein expresses feelings of confusion about the closure. “It definitely surprised me because it’s such a successful restaurant…I couldn’t imagine why it would close”.
Goldstein and Margulis also recall the unique experience offered at Woodmont Grill. “I just had dinner there a few nights before it closed and had a wonderful time, and now we can’t relive it,” Goldstein shares. Margulis adds, “The atmosphere…felt pretty unique.”
