Jazz Band closes out the spring concert with “Sir Duke” by Stevie Wonder

The annual Spring Concert took place on April 24 and 25 in the auditorium. On Wednesday, Symphonic Orchestra, Symphonic Band, Concert Band, and Chorus took the stage, followed by Philharmonic Orchestra, Jazz Ensemble, and Percussion on Thursday. The concert brought captivating tunes, including a composition of “Evokatah” performed by Wind Ensemble and “Honey Suckle” from Philharmonic Orchestra.

The student musicians practice all year round for their performances, taking part in intensive training. Clarinet player Adam Slagle shared, “I was stressed before the show, but once I was [playing], I had a great time.” Sophomore and concert attendee, Luna Acosta-Hall added, “My favorite song was ‘Epic Gamer Theme.’ These artists had an amazing performance on all accounts.”
