Girls’ lacrosse is going through a rough stretch after dropping their last two games against Walter Johnson High School and Walt Whitman High School. Looking ahead, they are taking on Winston Churchill High School tonight at home at 7 p.m.

They traveled to Walter Johnson on Tuesday and lost in a close game 6-4. Junior Jane Kowlakowski, sophomore Grace Krupinski, senior Cassidy Carroll, and senior Kate Campbell all scored a goal for B-CC.

At Whitman, the Barons were outperformed in pretty much every facet of the game and lost 12-3.

The Barons have now lost three straight games, and are looking to get back on track against a Churchill squad that is winless so far this year. “Each game our momentum has gone up and we are excited for Churchill. We have played tough opponents so far, as well,” junior Alyssa Weiner said.

There is a lot of season left to make a turnaround.
