Girls Team Post Seneca Valley Win

After a dominant season opener for the Barons, B-CC continued their success in a blowout win against Poolesville with a score of 60-25. However, the Barons were not satisfied with the win. Possibly the biggest game of the season for the Barons was coming up and they had to get ready for it.

Even with many people calling the Screaming Eagles the favorite to win the State Championship, B-CC was ready for the challenge and traveled to Seneca Valley for one of their hardest games of the year. The game went back and forth, but star guard Anna Tercyak was too much for the Screaming Eagles. Anna led the team in points with 25 and propelled B-CC past Seneca Valley. Anna expressed, “We were able to play at our pace and stayed calm when they tried to speed us up”. With such a dominant force for the Barons, it is clear to see why the Barons are the team to beat now throughout the State.

The Barons continued their rush of wins with another victory over Richard Montgomery by a score of 55-47. Junior guard Elisha Robinson stepped up and led the team with 16 points for the victory. The Barons host Springbrook this Friday night, Dec. 15th at the Palace in the hope of starting off the season 5-0.
