B-CC Cross Country concluded its fall season this past weekend. The Barons competed in the Montgomery County Champion on Saturday, Oct. 21 at Bohrer Park.

Girls Cross Country capped off their dominant season, finishing second out of 22 schools with a score of 80. Junior and star runner, Ani Bailin, finished fourth overall with a time of 19:23 in the five-kilometer. Bailin was the top-placing Baron. Junior Sophie Harjes, Freshman Nya Stoian, and Sophomore Aubrey Green all finished within the top twenty five with nearly two hundred competing runners.

Boys finished 8th with a score of 259. Senior Hunter Whitten was B-CC’s top finisher. Whitten came in at just over 17 minutes. Other notable finishers were Sophomore Michael Habib at 34th and Sophomore Donovan Hicks at 37th. Following the race, Senior Captain Ryan Maged shared, “It was tremendous! A phenomenal end to our season. Also, 2 girls finished inside the top 10, who could ask for more?”

All the hard work B-CC Cross Country put in this season has paid off, and The Tattler will look forward to watching the 2024-25 team next year!
