The Barons continue their dominance with two key wins against rival high schools, Winston Churchill and Walter Johnson.

After suffering a tough loss to Quince Orchard, the Barons looked to resume their winning ways against two challenging opponents. Senior Kate Campbell said, “We cannot let this loss bring us down, especially with some big games against Churchill and Walter Johnson coming up.”

The Barons did not back down after the loss, as B-CC pulled out a nail-biting overtime victory against Churchill. Senior Logan Tongberg had another astounding performance, scoring all 3 goals for the Barons, including the winning penalty kick to snag the Barons’ fifth win of the year.

However, B-CC didn’t stop their winning streak then. The Barons traveled to Walter Johnson high school last Wednesday in hopes of ruining the Wildcats Senior Night. The game was supposed to be a battle, but the Barons took care of business with ease against Walter Johnson. With a score of 5-1, the Barons coasted by the Wildcats without breaking a sweat. The seniors showed their experience with 5 Senior scorers bringing home the win, including Logan Tongberg, Katie Dorsey, Amanda Ridore, Anna Lane, and Riley Peterson.

With such a hot start to the year, the Barons are on the map as the team to beat in Montgomery County. The Barons hope to improve their 6-1 record against rival Walt Whitman High School Monday night, Oct. 9th, at the Guck. This game will be one of the toughest tests for the team yet.
