Baron Palooza is on May 12th from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm on the East-West Highway lawn. The Palooza, which was organized by Mr. Lopilato, will feature various bands, solo musical acts, artists, and their creations as well as other performances. There will be food and beverages including Clayboys shaved ice. The Palooza will also serve as an advertisement for International Night by showing just a few of the many dishes that will be served during International Night on May 24th. 

Baron Palooza had been going on since 2013 annually till the pandemic hit in 2020 causing it to take a two-year break making its return last year special. This year it got postponed again as it was originally planned for the fall, but due to a football game’s time change the festivity was ultimately cancelled. Mr. Lopilato shared, “I think it’s important we do this because artists at B-CC were upset that school athletics got all the attention, but the arts are just as important. Baron Palooza gives them that recognition, and students really enjoy it.”

Colin Eccles, the drummer for the band “Sundale”, performing at the Palooza says, “I’m really excited to be able to perform anytime, but especially for my own schools it’s always very special.”
