Barons Golf Falls in Last Regular Season Match

The Varsity Golf team finished their regular season on Tuesday, Oct. 10 against Whitman, Sherwood, and Walter Johnson at Needwood Golf Course. 

The Barons struggled in their last regular season match before states, finishing in last place. Whitman finished in first place with a score of 153, Walter Johnson was close behind with a score of 158, Sherwood finished third with 160, and B-CC rounded out the pack with a score of 163. When asked about the match, Sophomore Emery Brown said, “I think that the last match was a good one, we played some tough teams but came up short in the end.” The top scores from the round are as follows:

Jr. Emmanuel Caunegre: 39

Sr. Mack Fisher: 40

So. Emery Brown: 41

So. Ferris Smith: 43

Fr. Evelyn Dobbs-Sohn: 46

The Barons will compete in the State Championship on Oct. 23rd at The University of Maryland golf course. Good luck to our golfing Barons!
