The Softball Team Delivered

Softball’s previous season prompted high expectations for this year, and the Barons were able to deliver.

The B-CC Softball Team started off with a solid record of 3-2. “We are improving everyday and bonding together better as a team,” said captain Devin Brindle. After their first five games, The Barons went on to win nine out of their last eleven games, including a victory over their regional rival, Walt Whitman High School.

The Barons have been dominating their opponents this season, including a 17-2 victory versus Paint Branch and Einstein, a 14-1 victory versus Wootton, a 13-0 victory versus Blake, a 17-7 victory versus Northwest, and a 10-0 versus Rockville.

Overall, the team’s strongest point all season was their tremendous offense, made possible by the group’s deep and powerful batting lineup. With a young roster, the Barons look forward to dominating Montgomery County once again next year.
