The B-CC Barons Girls Softball team has kicked off their 2023 season this March and is already showing improvement from their 2022 season. 

This year, led by captains Devin Brindle, Maggie Johnson, Hannah Peters, and Alex Wedemeyer the Barons have started with a 3-2 record beating Blair, Gaithersburg, and Kennedy, and then losing to Clarksburg and Walter Johnson. The barons have done a very good job of handling business against the weaker opponents and making sure to put them away early, absolutely smashing Kennedy 17-5 and destroying Gaithersburg 16-1.

 According to captain Devin Brindle, “In just a few games we have learned and improved a lot and we are supporting each other through everything and it is starting to feel like family”. Last year, the Barons finished with a record of 10-7 but this year they have bigger plans and want to finish with a better record as well as making a deeper playoff run.
