As once said by Gretchen Wieners, “You can’t sit with us.” These are wise words that you will definitely hear from your fellow students if you don’t purchase tickets to B-CC’s “Mean Girls” production ASAP. This dramatic yet classic coming-of-age musical is coming to our B-CC stage from March 23 through 25 at 7 pm, be prepared to be blown away.

Our Barons have been singing, dancing, and practicing their hearts out for months to ensure they put on the best spring play possible. However, actors have done much more than just put in hundreds of hours in order to commit to their role, especially lead Molly Sylvester.

Sylvester, who plays the iconic leader of the “Plastics,” Regina George, shared, “I’m dying my hair [blonde] on Friday. With all the moving I do, a wig is not practical.” She elaborated, “Fans should anticipate a lot of good costumes for the Halloween scene,” and proceeded to show a scandalous costume similar to the ones the Plastics wore in the movie.

So Barons, get ready for a show of your lifetime, and coming from Regina George herself, “Expect a lot of comedy, lots of pink, and a lot of relatable [high school content].”
