The Barons Fall to the Wildcats
Despite a disappointing 9-7 playoff loss to Walter Johnson, the B-CC Men’s Lacrosse team had quite the journey getting the momentum to reach this point.
In the game prior, the regular season finale, B-CC defeated Kennedy 22-0. This gave the Barons a 7-7 record to end the regular season. The Barons star midfielder, Aaron Tiao had 9 points, bringing Tiao to first in goals and points in Montgomery County.
The week prior, the Barons faced Albert Einstein on Tuesday, May 2nd, winning 15-3. “It was a great game. We were firing on all cylinders.” said senior, Aaron Tiao. Tiao scored three goals in their win against Einstein bringing his season total up to 65 goals, leading Montgomery County in goals and second in total points with only one game left in the season.
Walter Johnson, who finished the season 7-4 also entered the playoffs on fire, and ultimately came out on top in an intense playoff rivalry game.
