On Thursday, April 30th, around 4:00 pm, the Montgomery County Board of Education announced Bethesda-Chevy-Chase’s new principal for the upcoming school year: Dr. La Faye E. Howard. Dr. Howard has been involved in Montgomery County for over two decades and most recently served as an assistant principal at Winston Churchill High School, where she was selected this year as the Maryland State Assistant Principal of the Year. Dr. Howard is excited to start her new journey with the Barons as she is committed to leading with vision and equity to support the growth and achievement of all students!
