Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School will host an International University Information Session and College Fair on Thursday, January 29, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the school cafeteria. The event will enable students and their families to explore college options beyond the United States. The fair will feature over 30 universities from around the world, with representatives available to answer questions about study programs, scholarships, and career pathways. The event is open to students and families interested in learning about international university options, and information will be provided on a variety of programs and educational pathways.
Clara Pinto, a BCC alumna who now attends Utrecht University in the Netherlands, encourages students interested in studying abroad to attend the fair. “Going abroad can seem scary, complicated, or intangible,” Pinto said. She explained that the fair can be a helpful place to ask questions, ease concerns, and help students realize they are not alone in considering international options and that support is available within the school community. Those who are planning on attending are encouraged to register in advance using the QR code shown on the poster or in the information sent to the student’s school email by Ms. Heald.
