Only 40 minutes away from Bethesda, massive names like Billie Eilish and Noah Kahan take to the stage at iconic music festival All Things Go.
Established in 2014, All Things Go is hosted at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland, a suburb of Washington, DC. Its concerts are held over two days and have hosted massive music artists such as Lana Del Rey, Charli XCX, and Hozier. This year, the event featured headliners Noah Kahan, Clairo, and Ke$ha. The festival lasted from Friday, September 26t to Sunday, September 28. All Things Go is a space of inclusion for LGBTQ+ artists and focuses on highlighting female artists. In 2018, it had an all-women lineup starring Billie Eilish and Carly Rae Jepsen. In 2024, All Things Go expanded to a new location in New York City, hosted at Forest Hills Stadium.
This year, many B-CC students were in attendance at the Columbia event, one of them being junior Lucia Castro, who said, “It was really fun. We waited seven and a half hours for Noah Kahan because we got there when it opened. But it was really worth it, because his performance was awesome.” Junior Ella Kirsh went to one day of the festival and shared, “I went on Friday, so I saw The Marias, The Last Dinner Party, and Noah Kahan. The energy was really good, especially at the side stage because that’s where the smaller artists were playing.”
Overall, many Barons had fun and got to experience a full music festival located so close to the DC metropolitan area!
