Baron athletes are wrapping up their seasons and gearing up for playoffs, leading to a big week across multiple sports.
Track and Field kicks off the week with competitions today, May 6, and tomorrow, May 7, at 4:30 pm at Seneca Valley High School. Track meets will continue throughout the week, offering multiple chances for athletes to set new records.
The tennis team also has a major week and will compete in seven separate County Championship tournaments. Singles, doubles, and mixed matches will be spread across the county.
Wednesday is a tough day for Baron Lacrosse players. Boys Lacrosse will host Gaithersburg High School on May 7 at 7:15 pm. , and Girls Lacrosse plays Churchill earlier in the evening at 5:15 pm.
Later in the week, Baseball and Softball both play on Thursday, May 8. Baseball takes the field at home against Gaithersburg at 3:45 pm, and Softball heads to Whitman High School for the Battle of Bethesda.
With multiple teams facing solid competition, it’s a big week for Baron athletes.
