On Saturday, January 4th, Barons indoor track & field attended an invitational meet at Nike Track & Field Center at the Armory in New York.
The athletes are placed in different level heats. The invitational heat is the highest, followed by the gold heat, silver heat, and bronze heat. Sophomore Nya Stoian placed 8th in the invitational heat of the 1-mile event. Junior Tobin Connelly placed 10th in the gold heat of the 1-mile event. In the men’s 800 meters, Senior Tytan Hinkson hit a personal record, clocking in with a time of 2.08. Many other B-CC athletes placed well in their respective heats.
The Barons compete again tomorrow, January 11th, and on Monday, January 13th. Championship season begins after those two meets.
