This Wednesday, B-CC’s Varsity Girls and Boys basketball teams will participate in Battlin’ Barons Madness! The event will include a co-ed intersquad scrimmage, performances by the Poms and Cheer teams, spirit giveaways, and more. Fans will also be chosen from the crowds to compete in a series of games themselves. Join the teams at 5:30 pm for a fun-filled night of hoops!
“I can’t wait,” said Senior Sasha Barr, adding, “I hope it will get people hyped for the upcoming season, especially after the success of last year.” The boys’ and girls’ basketball teams made a strong impact on Montgomery County last season, both earning County Championship titles, with the girls’ team also advancing to the State Finals.
“I think the event I am most excited about is the intersquad scrimmage. It will be fun to be able to all play together as one program,” said Senior Lucas Allen.
