On Wednesday, Dec. 4, B-CC will host its fourth Cafecito from 8:30 to 9:30 am in the cafeteria. Spearheaded by Assistant Principal Angela Scears (formerly Castillo), the morning event will inform Latino caregivers about student schedules for the 2025-2026 school year. The Electives Fair will occur on the same day to inform B-CC students of their future course options; with course requests opening on Friday, Dec. 6, the Cafecito aims to prepare Latino parents and guardians for that process in advance. The event will be jointly hosted by Resource Counselor Jeanette Reveron and ELD Counselor Melanie Khani.
Wednesday morning’s Cafecito comes on the heels of three prior Cafecitos that aimed to inform Latino parents and guardians about college and career readiness, the IB diploa programme, and other post-secondary education opportunities.
