The Barons Swim and Dive team is ready to make waves as the new season begins. Known for its competitive edge, the team remains a powerhouse in Montgomery County athletics.
The Barons have a storied history of success, consistently ranking among the top teams in MPCS. With strong showings in regional and state meets, the program has become a statement of B-CC athletics. Swimmers and divers regularly break personal records and set new benchmarks for the program, making every season a thrilling journey for athletes.
Beyond their success in the water, the Barons pride themselves on building a supportive, family-like environment. Coaches and team captains emphasize teamwork, resilience, and sportsmanship, creating a space where athletes of all levels feel welcome and challenged. Senior Kieran Lakhan, who has been on the team for four years, said, “As a senior, I am excited to welcome the incoming swimmers and have the best season yet.”
From intense training sessions to post-meet celebrations, the team’s bond extends beyond the pool. Senior Captain Elana Bilbao said, “I can’t wait for the high energy and spirit during night meets and take up diving during my senior night.”
