The Barons will be taking on Italy this Saturday, November 16, 2024! For 10 days, students will participate in an exchange program where they will experience Italian culture by visiting cities and provinces, including Venice, Verona, Brescia, and Milan—much to look forward to, including hands-on experience at an Italian high school, Liceo Copernico.
Maya Jones, a senior who will be participating in the program, said, “While B-CC is a diverse community, there are so many more cultures throughout the world we have yet to understand, and I believe understanding those cultures further allows us to have a better idea of worldwide culture.”
Experiencing new cultures can be eye-opening and offer endless opportunities to exchange students and their host families. Jones added, “I’m most excited to connect with Italian culture simply by staying with a family with their own traditions and morals.”.
