Abortion was on the November ballot in ten critical states reflecting the Dobbs Decision in June of 2022. Several states including Maryland took steps towards ensuring reproductive rights by either legalizing abortion fully or under limitations regarding fetal viability. Other states such as Florida and South Dakota further enforced constrictions on abortions either through strict limitations such as restrictions on abortion after 15 weeks of pregnancy or a full illegalization of abortion.
