It’s the weekend after Halloween, a crisp fall morning. Spice trees fill your home with the most nostalgic and festive smell.
9:00 a.m.
Starbucks classics have been on your mind all fall. Must try’s from this season are of course the Pumpkin spice latte, and the Starbucks cozy new Pecan Crunch Oat Milk Latte.
12:00 p.m.
Your friends are going to come over to make apple pie! You’re also going out later on tonight so you decide to dress up and be in full makeup and costume while you make it.
4:00 p.m.
The rest of the day is spent watching movies. Thankfuly, IMDB has plenty of recommendations for vibey Halloween movies. Some include:
- Hocus Pocus – A Whitty classic about three malicious witches awakening.
- Halloween – A scary thriller about a mental – patient escaping the hospital.
- The Nightmare Before Christmas – Jack Skellington in a whimsical fantasy discovering Halloween.
- Halloweentown – A Disney throwback about a girl discovering her mother is a witch!
6:30 p.m.
Now, dinner is over and pumpkin pie is in the oven baking! The group is now deciding how they will spend the night.
Spooky drive-in movies are back! Every Friday in October at 7:00 pm, at Red Barn Ranch 175 Klee Mill Rd, you can enjoy a movie on a giant 40ft screen. On 10/4 is Hotel Transylvania, on 10/11 is The Haunted Mansion, on 10/18 is The Nightmare Before Christmas, and on 10/25 is Beetlejuice. Admissions are 8 dollars per person– don’t forget your blanket!
If you’re seeking a little bit more adventure, be sure to explore the Field Of Screams, rated the #1 haunted attraction in the DMV. It has a haunted trail, a trail of terror, and ‘the Slaughter Factory’.
Last but not least, between September 17 – October 24, Six Flags is hosting a Fright fest. You can experience thrilling rides, 20 haunted houses, and fright zones.
