Last night, Girls Flag Football had a nail-biting win against the Walter Johnson Wildcats. After a tough season, the Barons clutched their first win on Senior Night.
The intensity was high as Senior Kia Cordle took the first touchdown with a pick-six to put B-CC on the board and take the lead. The high intensity of the crowd pumped the team, with chants led by Managers Michael Mandell and Owen Delfin.
At the end of the first half, WJ scored, tying the game. After a scoreless second half, the game went into a thrilling overtime fight.
With the game on the line, Cordle ran through a pack of WJ players straight into the endzone, securing the win.
This marks the last game of the regular season. The Barons are working hard to prepare for post-season playoff games.
