The B-CC varsity field hockey team put on a show for Senior Night. The Barons celebrated 13 seniors with a commanding 8-1 victory over the Northwest Jaguars. Seniors Elisha Robinson and Abby Schrader led the charge. The two combined for four of the Barons’ eight goals. Their offensive onslaught set the tone early, allowing the Barons to dominate the Jaguars on all sides of the ball.
While the offense shined, the Barons’ defense was just as dominant, allowing only one goal over four quarters. Seniors Hannah Brooker and Maddie Kelliher were key parts of the defensive line, shutting down the Jaguars’ offense and proving why B-CC’s defense has been a key factor in their success all season.
The Barons have had a strong finish to the season. After a tough loss to Damascus, they bounced back with a crucial victory over Blair. The Barons closed out the regular season with a 2-0 win against Magruder on Wednesday, October 16th.
With multiple key seniors and a solid defense to rely on, B-CC is set up for a strong postseason run.
