Boys volleyball faces off against Blake

After falling to Rockville 3-0 on Saturday, April 6, boys’ volleyball bounced back with a dominating win over James Hubert Blake by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday to improve their record to 3-1.

“This win was really important for us as a team because we showed how dominant we can be and how we can really take control of a game,” junior Calder Trevelyan said.

The Barons will need to continue playing excellent team ball if they want to continue this hot streak, as junior Matthew Martiyniak suffered a wrist injury during the game. He hopes to be back on the court as soon as he possibly can. His presence will certainly be missed while he’s out as this year he has stepped into a larger role with the team.

Their next game will be tonight, Friday, April 12 at Walter Johnson. The Barons will look to stay hot and take down the Wildcats.
