On Saturday, Oct. 28, B-CC boys soccer fell to Quince Orchard High School, 4-2, ending their season in the second round of the playoffs. Seniors Theo Yonly and Sergio Gomez scored goals for the Barons, with Yonly’s being a long-range banger and Sergio scoring a penalty. This contributed to a 2-1 lead late in the second half. Unfortunately, B-CC could not hold on, conceding multiple times late in the second half. Yonly commented, “It was heartbreaking. We did everything right, but things just did not go our way.”

The Barons finished the season with a regular season record of 4 wins, 5 losses, and 3 draws, with the added bonus of a playoff win over a strong Churchill squad. “We had a great season, I think we had a lot of individual talent that came together to build a great team. Our intensity could have been slightly higher, but we still managed to play ferociously,” said Senior Goalie Noah Brown. Overall, the boy’s soccer team had a great season, and we are looking forward to seeing how far they can go next fall!
