It’s that time of the year again: college application deadlines are approaching, and many B-CC students have their first deadline on Oct. 15.
Through the common app and other websites, students have the opportunity to submit their applications by deadlines that are determined by the school and application type.
Oct. 15 is the first deadline for many high school students who plan on applying early action. Other deadlines for early action, early decision and regular decision include: Nov. 1st, Nov. 15, December 1, and Jan. 1.
B-CC senior, Gaby Puig, who has a deadline on the 15th said, “It’s been a lot of work to stay on top of school while also working on my applications, but it’s exciting that we are finally getting to apply after having to talk and hear about college for so long now.”
For many B-CC students, the summer and first semester of senior year is spent writing a personal essay, supplementals, and recalling every activity they participated in during their four years of high school.
B-CC senior, Lael Spalter shared, “I can’t believe we are already seniors and applying to schools; I feel like it went by so fast. It is really cool to go through everything I have done the last four years and have the chance to put it out there and see what happens.”
The Tattler wishes our senior Barons the best of luck and hope that they get their applications in on time.
